In the new year, Cube is giving its AMS Pro with the Rock Shox fork more travel of up to 120 millimetres at the front. The U-Turn system allows the air fork to be lowered continuously down to 90 millimetres, even if the operation is quite time-consuming with several turns. When fully extended, the seat angle is relatively slack at 71.3 degrees, but still allows for acceptable climbing. Downhill, the smooth 68° steering angle and the wide cockpit ensure confident handling, while the soft suspension filters out bumps but provides little feedback to the rider.
CONCLUSION: Long-stroke racer that also cuts a fine figure on tours thanks to its sensitive suspension comfort.
TUNING TIP: Push the saddle forwards when the fork is extended.
