More of a sporty tourer than a thoroughbred racer. Impressive performance and equipment.

Cube's best-selling AMS Pro enters the test with minor changes compared to last year. In addition to the familiar look of the frame, the kinematics of the rear triangle in particular have been refined to minimise bobbing tendencies. As a result, the suspension remains very stable even when pedalling out of the saddle and guarantees plenty of propulsion on the third lightest bike in the test. The response to small bumps and the ability to swallow downhill are good average. On steep climbs, the rather slack 72° seat tube angle and the long head tube with a high end spacer make you wish for a little more pressure on the front wheel. On the other hand, the riding position, including the wide cockpit, is upright and comfortable.

ConclusionA sporty tourer rather than a thoroughbred racer. Driving performance and equipment are convincing.
