With the revised AMS 110 SL, Cube has relaunched its flagship bike for 2011. What the marketing department calls ERC means that every frame size has the same kinematics and every size rides the same, regardless of whether it is an S or XL frame. This is reflected in the balanced handling. Despite the long head tube and high front end (145 millimetres), the 74-degree seat tube angle climbs well. The high-quality Fox fork with compression adjustment and the RP23 shock with three platform modes respond sensitively and work well together. Riders who prefer a hardtail-like setup can switch on the platform. The super-wide cockpit (700 millimetres) and eleven centimetres of travel make for a lot of fun on descents. Only the high weight and the two-year warranty slow down the middle of the three AMS models.
