Corratec X-Vert S 0.3
Neither a thoroughbred racer nor a cosy tourer - the X-Vert from Corratec with average equipment is right in between.

Despite the long top tube, the riding position of the Corratec X-Verts is neutral to relaxed. At just under 1700 grams, the cleanly powder-coated frame is one of the lighter ones in the test field and catches the eye with its bold blue colour scheme. With XT, SLX and Deore parts and the somewhat underpowered Shimano disc, the equipment is in the midfield, as is the overall weight of the bike. The steep 71° steering angle ensures an agile, manoeuvrable character. The crooked handlebar mount of the in-house Zzyzx stem spoils the impression of quality.

CONCLUSIONNeither a thoroughbred racer nor a cosy tourer - the X-Vert with average equipment lies exactly in between.

TUNING TIPNo tuning necessary.

Corratec: deviation of the stem. The stem mount for the handlebars is not quite straight. This calls into question the quality of the in-house Zzyzx components.Photo: Unbekannt Corratec: deviation of the stem. The stem mount for the handlebars is not quite straight.
