For just under 2000 euros, Canyon traditionally offers a lot of bike for the money. The "Nerve XC 7" does not disappoint: both the suspension and the equipment are convincing, the workmanship, quality and laboratory measurements are at a high level. The low weight and propulsion-orientated riding position are pleasing on the climbs. Downhill, the stiff frame ensures precise, accurate steering and good control. Compared to the very sensitive fork, the rear feels too sluggish; it doesn't utilise the theoretically large suspension travel. The "Nerve XC 7" impresses with its high-quality equipment and some fine details (quick-release saddle clamp, "Matchmaker" clamp).

TUNING TIP: Fit a shorter stem, saddle uncomfortable.
