With its strikingly comprehensive XT componentry, superior Reba SL fork and decent brakes, the Tattoo LTD scores plenty of points in terms of equipment. This also results in the attractive total weight of 11.75 kilos including pedals. Due to the very large test frame, the riding position was long but by no means overly sporty. On steep sections, the overly slippery saddle causes problems as there is little grip. Downhill, on the other hand, the comfortable cockpit with wide handlebars combined with unagitated, smooth handling scored points. There is no handlebar lockout to quickly lock the fork.
CONCLUSIONRelaxed cruiser with very good equipment and competitive weight.
TUNING TIPReplace saddle and retrofit handlebar lockout if necessary.
