Bergamont Platoon 5.9
Sporty bike with average equipment. Not very comfortable due to the short 80-millimetre fork.
With its subtle red stripes, the Platoon 5.9 stands out from the uniform black and white of the test field. The steep 71.5 steering angle makes the bike very agile, while the riding position is centred and ensures good climbing characteristics. The short fork in combination with the narrow tyres is not very comfortable. Thanks to continuous outer sleeves on the rear derailleur, precise shifting is possible even after months.
CONCLUSIONS: Sporty bike with average equipment. Not very comfortable due to the short 80-millimetre fork.
TUNING TIP: fit wider tyres.
