In the February issue of BIKE, the top model in the Fastlane range already scored top marks. And the Fastlane 9.0, which is half the price, is also one of the best marathon full-sussers in this comparison. Although the bike weighs a hefty 12.65 kilos and is significantly slower, it has an identical frame with balanced geometry and a smooth yet forgiving rear end. Thanks to the steep 73° seat angle, the Bergamont climbs even the steepest ramps with plenty of pressure on the front wheel. Downhill, the Fox suspension is active and harmonious. The heaviest wheels in the test leave room for weight tuning.
