The new enduro and freeride tyres push the limits of riding physics into new dimensions. However, only those who don't fail in terms of weight and rolling resistance will be able to impress in the end.

Astonished looks at the guillotine. The executioner releases the guillotine. From a height of 125 centimetres, it hits the tyre with a crash. It weighs ten kilos and is only a few millimetres wide. The inner tube and tyre remain intact. More is not possible! The maximum height in the snake bite test has been reached. Five participants in the Freeride category pass this brutal test. What remains is a dent in the rim and the knowledge that these tyres can safely master all drops and edges.

ENDURO OR FREERIDE?

The freeride tyres differ from the enduro tyres in width and weight. All enduro tyres remain under 800 grams each. After all, the aim is to climb one or two peaks with these tyres. The field is close together. Three-metre drops are no longer a rarity. The freeride tyres also survive botched landings from this height.
