The idea is good: the Reserve Fillmore Tubeless valve allows around three times as much airflow. The lack of a valve core also means that latex milk does not stick to the valve.
Deflating works without unscrewing the cap. Stupid: If you lose the cap, you can no longer lock the valve. Also stupid: Conventional air pressure gauges do not work with the valve. The price is exaggerated.

Conclusion:
No special tubeless pump required, no gluing of the valve. But flaws in the details. Expensive!
