The Swiss rubber mixers from Onza have inflated the well-known Canis all-round tyre to a Plus size. In the Plus version, the Canis has a tyre size of 27.5 x 2.85 inches; mounted on a 40 mm rim, it has an outer dimension of 72 millimetres. Little has changed to the good rolling profile with low lugs. Only one stud has been added in between in the Plus version. To ensure puncture resistance, the 840 gram tubeless ready tyre will only be available with a freeride casing (FRC).
The second new tyre in the Onza line-up is the Svelt. The marathon tyre plays in the Racing Ralph league and should score points above all with its low rolling resistance. With the Svelt, Onza has initially limited itself to one size (29x2.25) - albeit in three versions: As a 120 TPI tyre with dual compound weighing 620 grams, as an affordable version with 60 TPI and in an eye-catching "skinwall" design.
