The Wild AM2 is a trail tyre and not a reinforced downhill tyre. The French use two rubber compounds for the Wild AM2. Hard in the centre and soft on the sides. This noticeably ensures a long service life with good grip. In short: Michelin's Wild is recommended as a "daily" tyre and for home trail laps. The balance between grip, durability, weight and rolling resistance is just right. If you're heading to the bike park or an enduro race, a softer tyre with more puncture resistance is advisable.
