Maxxis Minion DHR II: Further development of a classic
At the BIKE Festival in Willingen, Maxxis will be presenting the model revision of the downhill classic Minion for the rear wheel: the Maxxis Minion DHR II is intended to achieve significant improvements in running characteristics, particularly thanks to a new tread design.

The Maxxis Minion DHR rear tyre was not particularly popular due to its poor rolling characteristics and problematic limit range behaviour - now comes its successor. The further development of the downhill rear tyre is called Minion DHR II and now rolls faster, lasts longer and is now the ideal complement to the DHF for the front wheel thanks to a modified profile and new rubber compounds. In 2.4 inch (ETRTO width 61 mm), the Minion DHR II weighs around 1.2 kilos and is very stable thanks to the double-layer carcass. The downhill tyre is available in the rubber compounds Single, Super Tacky and 3C Maxx Grip - on sale from July for 54.90 euros.
