The revised version of Kenda's all-mountain classic Honey Badger is quite voluminous in its 2.2-inch width as a 29er tyre.

It rolls very well on gravel and rooted forest soil and offers an amazing amount of grip. You don't have to worry about wet roots or round, wet stones. Nothing makes the Honey Badger slip. The open tread quickly becomes clogged with mud, but cleans itself off again quite quickly. However, as soon as the ground gets really deep, the grip comes to an end. In fast gravel bends, the higher side lugs really dig into the ground. Our tester was spared punctures despite fresh shards on the doorstep. The puncture protection was absolutely sufficient in our practical tests. Conclusion: super all-rounder with plenty of grip and cornering grip, even when it's loose or wet. Only in deep mud does the Kenda tyre reach its limits. Fair price.

PLUS Fair price, good cornering grip, good grip on wet stones
MINUS Self-cleaning in deep mud, relatively high weight

Weight 777 grammes
Price approx. 40 Euro
