Everyone wants to arrive quickly and safely. Most people realise that the level of training plays a not insignificant role. It is also a truism that the right tyre can make the difference between weal and woe on a tour. However, the influence of the inner tubes inside the tyres is still often underestimated. The weight, material and wall thickness of the inner tubes have a significant influence on the properties of the tyres. They can only play to their strengths if both fit together. That's why we put ten inner tubes to the test. Downhill tyres and race skins had to pass the laboratory test, as did latex exotics and self-patching inner tubes.
You can find these hoses in the test:
Conti MTB Supersonic, Kenda Downhilltube and puncture protection tube, Maxxis Downhill 1.2 / Fly Weight / Welter Weight, Michelin C4 Latex, Panaracer Green Lite, Schwalbe extra light and XX-light, Zzyzs Safe Ride
