Geax Goma tyres in individual test
You could cycle through minefields with the Goma tyre from Geax. We tested the 29er version in 2.4 inch.

Geax's new Goma is aimed at difficult terrain. We rode it as a 29er, in 2.4 inch front (1065 g) and 2.25 rear (860 g), in the sticky sticky compound. You can feel the superior grip right from the first few metres, but also the rolling resistance. The tyre has enormous reserves, performs well and hardly wears at all. However, the tyre's high weight severely limits its range of use. Touring riders: Hands off. Enduro riders: definitely try it out!

Weight 860-1065 grammes
Price 49,90 Euro

For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
