Floor-standing: 8 tyre combos in comparison
No other type of tyre has to combine as many properties as enduro tyres: robust, grippy, light - and they should also roll well. We tested eight exciting tyre combinations.

Enduro missions are tough business! Grippy compounds and robust carcasses drive up the weight of enduro tyres. Very few tyres in the test manage to get below the one-kilo limit with sufficient puncture protection. Tyre combos are a good solution for enduro riders because you can combine a lot of grip at the front, puncture protection and low rolling resistance at the rear.

You can download the complete comparison test of eight tyre combos from FREERIDE 1/20 as a PDF below the article. The test costs 1.99 euros.

Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in FREERIDE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, namely tens of thousands of euros every year.
