Despite its competitive price, the Con-Tec seatpost is only slightly heavier than the competition, but is fully convincing in trail use.

It glides down smoothly and with low leverage up to 150 millimetres and signals with a light "tock" when it has reached the highest point again. The speed of the easily replaceable air cartridge is optimal. Installation is quick and easy, the cable is attached to the support and clamped to one of the two levers supplied. I liked the ergonomics of the single trigger better.
