With our all-terrain combination of a 135 millimetre wide carbon fibre seat and the cheapest (!) seatpost in the range, we dared to put it to the trail test after the somewhat fiddly assembly. The thin-walled seatpost, which is approved for up to 85 kilos, requires a little more delicate handling than many others: A torque spanner for clamping and regular visual checks for pressure points and cracks are a must! The thin, flexible cover of the saddle rides like balm with bib shorts, but is not compatible with wide shorts.
CONCLUSIONSensitive tuning parts on the edge of the possible, for which you almost need a money-printing machine.
