The guys at rie:sel design haven't reinvented the small, practical front fender. But they have brought fresh colours to the bike with the Schlamm:PE.

We've all been there: it's raining again this summer, the trails are full of puddles and the view of the bikini girls at the lake is totally restricted. But does that mean you want to spoil the whole look of your bike with huge mudguards? Rie:sel design says no and has come up with the Schlamm:PE, a practical mini fender for the fork bridge. We already know that this type of mudguard works well and is inconspicuous. Here too, the sturdy plastic protectors are attached to the fork with cable ties. In contrast to the competition, however, the mud:PE is not only available in drab black, but in five other funky designs. The 11 gram protector is manufactured in Dresden and costs a mere 9.95 euros. We think you can definitely invest the few euros for a clear view. Whether on the trail or the bikini girls is up to you. Info under www.riesel-design.com

For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
