Titanium makes the hearts of many bikers beat faster. However, the heart of Ritchey's titanium pedal is a steel axle. It gives the small lightweight the necessary stability to conquer the market without weight restrictions. The precious metal is only used for the body. Unfortunately, the "WCS V4 Mountain Ti" struggled with functional weaknesses during continuous use. The cover cap of a bearing could no longer be properly fastened, and on one click side the tension of the spring diminished and no longer held the shoe with the desired force. Otherwise, the pedal impressed with its very pleasant clicking behaviour.
Conclusion: Noble and lightweight race pedal with good entry and exit. In terms of workmanship, the tester would have expected a little more.
