Noble things: Syntace flat pedals No. Nine
Is there a perfect pedal? I gave the Number Nine pedal a chance. And was not disappointed.

Is there a perfect pedal? One that always does its job, without complaint, without whining and whining? Even with the harsh, relentless treatment I give my pedal? Hard to imagine. I gave the Number Nine pedal a chance. At that price, maybe it would work, I thought. And I was right. When it did start to weep quietly at some point, I sent it in - and got it back. Like new. Since then, it has been rotating silently on its axles. There's a lot of high-tech in it, and a lot of engineering skill too. There is now a successor with a rounder shape. Great: the lightweight (294 g) and the super grip.

STRENGTHS Grip, weight, durability

WEAKNESSES Very expensive

Price: 278 Euro

Conclusion: Expensive, robust super pedal at a horrendous price, but it pays off.
