The first impression is pleasing. The power transfer is brilliant thanks to the large contact surface between the sole and pedal. Another positive aspect is that the different thicknesses of the plates allow you to adjust how smoothly the pedal should release. They can also be used to compensate for worn soles. In all-mountain use with smaller jumps, you will fly out of the pedal too quickly. The resistance cannot be set high enough for this. The pedals are also quite thick, which means that unintentional pedal contact is much more frequent. In addition, compared to "Eggbeater" or Shimano, you have to ride the saddle a few millimetres higher because the distance between the sole and the axle is greater and therefore biomechanically less favourable.
