HT ME03T: weight-optimised platform pedal
HT has pushed the weight limit of its ME03T platform pedal way down by using high-quality, lightweight materials. Weight-conscious bikers with the necessary change will be delighted.

Thick, large and heavy. This is what platform pedals often look like. The ME03T doesn't just stand out visually. At just 218 grams, it weighs barely more than lightweight clipless pedals. On the other hand, the use of titanium on the axle and the magnesium body really hits the budget. The triple bearing pedals cost 220 euros. 10 interchangeable pins on each side hold the foot securely on the pedal. The ME03 with steel axle is significantly cheaper and still very light at 257 grams. www.ht-components.com

For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
