Crazy: All racers swear by clipless shoes, but the Australian wonder racer Sam Hill still rides his signature shoe Impact from Five Ten on flat pedals.
I've been putting this Fort Knox over my feet since 2016. Whenever the terrain gets really rough. Here, the heavy (1236 g / size 45) Sam Hill 3 is unbeatable - literally. Super protection, super grip and above all: super robust! My boots still look brand new after three years of abuse. For enduro tours, however, the shoe is too big for me.
Caution: After Five Ten was bought by Adidas, the lasts were changed. The new sizes differ from the old ones and are smaller.
