Endurance test: Ritchey WCS Paradigm pedals
The Ritchey pedals immediately showed a defect during the first enduro use.
A good 60 grams lighter than an XTR pedal, despite the steel axle. The choice of CC world champion Nino Schurter made me curious. The Ritchey pedal is SPD-compatible and impresses with its defined entry and exit, even if it doesn't quite match the smooth Shimano function. The admittedly hard use in an enduro race in Finale Ligure with stone contact in the first pedalling passage caused the cage to break and the close bond was over. More for cross-country and touring use.
