Endurance test: Crank Brothers Mallet DH pedals
I was already impressed by the Crank Brothers Mallet DH pedal in pre-production condition. The final version comes with a slightly stiffer spring.

This further increases the grip on the pedal. Nevertheless, you don't need to be afraid of getting stuck in the pedal.
get stuck in the pedal. The large footprint offers a great deal of downhill safety. The height of the pins can be adjusted. The open structure of the cage practically cleans itself. According to Crank Brothers, the previously quite vulnerable bearings have been reworked, but the bearings did not survive the wet spring unscathed. However, a rebuild kit is available for 15 euros.
