The function is good. Getting on and off the bike is easy, even in the muddiest conditions. Standing on the pedals is secure. However, the sharp-edged aluminium body is nasty to the bare calf as soon as you have to push. The first service - disassembly, relubrication - was due after just 1000, admittedly dirty, kilometres. Then, after 3500 kilometres, total failure with a locked axle: the needle bearing had burst.
CONCLUSIONWeak seal and undersized bearings - not for frequent drivers.
