The Austrian wheel specialist Xentis rolls the finest carbon onto the Shocker Distribution stand. With the Squad 2.5 MTB, a lightweight wheelset in 27.5 and 29 inch is now in the programme.

The Austrian wheel builders were quiet for a short time. With the exhaust specialist Remus at their side, they are now going full throttle. The Squad 2.5 comes with a decent width. The inner width measures 24 millimetres, while the outer width is a full 30 millimetres. This means that nothing stands in the way of the use of wide tyres. Nevertheless, the weight has been kept surprisingly low at 1220 grams. Squad 2.5 wheels will be available with a choice of lefty, quick-release or 15-millimetre thru axle at the front and quick-release and X12 thru axle at the rear. www.xentis.com
