Vittoria now not only makes tyres, but also system wheels. At 1443 grams, the 29er wheelset with 25 millimetre wide aluminium rims plays in the same league as inexpensive carbon wheels.

After 2000 kilometres of testing, one thing is certain: the asymmetric aluminium rim is significantly more stable than the carbon competition. Even small jumps or nasty stone fields could not harm the cross-country wheels. Even the freewheel still works perfectly after several mud packs.

Our conclusion: Vittoria celebrates a successful debut with its system wheels. Tubeless tyres are easy to fit.
