Pressfit bottom bracket from Hope
The British parts manufacturer Hope mills a beautiful press-fit bottom bracket. The unconventional housing design is intended to make the part rigid and durable.

Like all other Hope products, the new Pressfit bottom bracket was CNC-machined with fetishistic dedication. It's a shame that hardly anyone will see it. Because once pressed in, the bearing has disappeared from view forever. And so it should. Because Hope has built the bearing for eternity. The special feature: The aluminium housing consists of two parts that are bolted together. This ensures rigidity, stability and a perfect fit. The industrial bearings used are elaborately sealed. The bearing is available in installation widths of 86.5 millimetres, 89.5 millimetres and 92 millimetres (standards: BB86, BB89.5 and BB92), the bearing shells have an outer diameter of 41 millimetres. It is only available in the colour black. As already mentioned, the visual appeal will unfortunately remain hidden from the observer anyway. However, a special tool is required for installation. Price: 110 euros. www.hopetech.com
