The wheels are built by hand by the makers of the Transalpes mountain bike. As a Swiss bike manufacturer, Transalpes relies on Switzerland as a manufacturing centre. Transalpes mountain bikes are developed in Switzerland and custom-built in the factory shop in Zwillikon. Transalpes now offers the possibility of configuring wheels on the Internet according to the individual requirements of visitors. On the online wheel configurator, customers can choose between different hubs, rims, spokes and nipples. Depending on the area of use and body weight, internet visitors can put together their own personalised wheels. When selecting components, we at Transalpes rely on high-quality and proven parts. Hubs from DT, Chris King, Hope and Acros - spokes and nipples from DT - rims from NoTubes. The wheels are assembled by hand by our specialists in the Transalpes Factory Shop in Zwillikon. The customer benefits from the team's experience in wheel construction: at Transalpes Bikes, the wheels have always been built by hand. The key to our lightweight construction is the tubeless system from Notubes. Notubes rims are among the lightest on the market and, thanks to riding "tubeless" and with sealing fluid, among the most puncture-proof. Notubes manufactures customised rims for the different areas of use - race, marathon, all-mountain and freeride. The lightest race wheelset from Zwillikon weighs 1180 grams. Ambitious marathon riders and elite bikers rely on these. Roger Fischlin and the Gold Wurst Power Team have ridden with great success this season with hand-built wheels from Transalpes.
