Carbon wheels from Veltec
The hand-spoked wheels of the German brand Veltec have made a name for themselves with good BIKE tests. A new addition to the range is a carbon wheelset.
Veltec has been supplying robust and excellently manufactured wheels for years. The price is also right for the wheels, which are spoked by hand in Germany. After countless high carbon wheels for racing bikes, a carbon wheel for bikers is also coming next year: the "XM Carbon".
Carbon rims for clincher tyres
In addition to a set for 26-inch rims (1420 grams), there is also a version with 29-inch rims, which have an external width of 25 millimetres. As always, the axle can be converted to all common standards. Optionally, the set can also be fitted with the new, lightweight Syntace hub. Both wheels are clincher versions. The front wheel of the 29er carbon set weighs 666 grams, the rear wheel 807 grams. The wheels will cost 1000 euros.
