The Race Face Next R carbon parts are explicitly tailored to enduro and trail use. The Canadians promise low weight with top durability, even when riding hard.

Race Face continues to expand its range of carbon components. Between the super-light Next SL series for marathon and cross-country racers and the SixC downhill group are the Next R parts, made for trail and enduro bikers.

The new wheelset relies on the Vault hubs that are already used in the Turbine aluminium wheels. Race Face has also added new carbon rims. The set is available in 27.5 and 29 inch, the front wheel costs 799 euros, the rear wheel 899 euros. The 27.5 inch set should weigh 1680 grams, the 29er 1765 grams. Florentin Vesenbeckh has been on a mountain bike since he was ten years old. Even on his very first tour, he focussed on single trails - and even after more than 30 years in the saddle of an MTB, these are still the quintessence of biking for him. He spent his youth competing in various bike disciplines and later his cycling career was characterised by years as a riding technique coach.
