Voilà! The Spirgrips from SQLab offer long-distance riders an additional, relaxed grip position. Unlike the previously popular bar ends, they are mounted on the inside. They are therefore not really suitable for pedalling in the saddle or bolting over bumpy tracks. Cranking along on gentle terrain, however, is pure bliss with the Spirgrips. The stubs, which can be retrofitted to almost any handlebar, are ergonomically well shaped. However, they are so homeopathically dimensioned that they only offer a single grip position. This means you have to grip the outside of the handlebars from time to time, even on flat terrain, so that your hands don't cramp in the aluminium recesses. Nevertheless: a useful accessory for kilometre-hungry riders with wide handlebars.
