Schmolke TLO parts in the BIKE test
Schmolke regularly pushes the limits of what is feasible with its carbon parts. But instead of being produced in the Far East, every part is manufactured and extensively tested in Germany.

In addition, only the best carbon fibres are used for The Lightest One parts. Much more important, however, is the processing, which justifies the high price: In the TLO support, for example, 17 fibre mats are used in stressed areas, while only nine are used in other areas. In order to offer the lightest possible post for everyone, Schmolke customises the posts according to rider weight, seatpost length and extension. The clamping head is a little fiddly, but the saddle angle can be adjusted with millimetre precision. The post sometimes acknowledged impacts with a loud crack, but no damage is visible. The TLO riser (15 mm rise, 6° bend) sits ergonomically in the hand and fits very well on 29ers, as the cockpit remains low. We had the 740 mm, up to 800 mm is possible.

Test summary of Schmolke TLO

A breath of nothing: thanks to their elaborate workmanship and high material quality, the riser bar and seat post from Schmolke's TLO line are among the lightest MTB accessories on the market.
