It feels as if someone has just grabbed the handlebars with Nutella fingers. The ultra-tacky grips from Renthal live up to their name and literally stick to your fingers and gloves.

The double-bolted grips would even cut a fine figure as a lint roller. At 30 millimetres in diameter, the Renthal grips are quite thin and have little damping. We rode the grips with gloves and can confirm an absolutely non-slip, firm grip. Even with low hand force, the hands are absolutely twist-proof. Sometimes even too tight. This is because you have to consciously open your hand to correct the hand position. The aluminium clamping ring on the outside also means that comfort is lost when gripping from the outside.
