Let's talk about tuning! Let's talk about ergonomics! The frame of a bike is what it is, but you can change a lot about the riding position by replacing a few parts. However, the stem is central here - its length and angle determine how sporty or not you sit on the bike. So you can give your bike a completely different character for relatively little money.
Cane Creek is now presenting its new GXC stem. This stem has been specially developed for gravel bikes and cross country mountain bikes. The Cane Creek GXC-Stem is a rigid stem that matches the size, shape and proportions of modern frames in this segment. The part is available with a +/- 6° angle and in lengths from 60 mm to 100 mm.
With a weight of 96 g to 120 g - depending on the length - this Cane Creek stem is probably one of the lighter ones on the market. The price is also pleasingly low, as the GXC stem is sold for 69.99 USD - that's a good 64 euros.
In return, you get the stem in an elegant look, in polished black or silver. All GXC stems are supplied with stainless steel bolts and have a laser engraving that clearly indicates the stem length and the bolt torque.
They are an excellent addition to any Cane Creek headset, fit perfectly with the Invert Gravel fork and are of course compatible with the Cane Creek computer mount.
The GXC stem is now available at canecreek.com and at selected retailers.
