All 9- and 10-speed shifters are fitted with the same ball bearings as the X0 and XX triggers.

After the spongy and undefined shifting feel of the X9 groupset was criticised in the last gear test, SRAM is now making improvements. You can find the shifting test from BIKE 3/2011 in the link below.
