Licence rider Florian Ettenberger rode the Shimano DXR groupset on his BMX race bike and gave us his test statement.

We bolted the crank, chainring, rear brake and hubs to the BMX race bike of licence rider Florian Ettenberger. The four sprockets supplied made it easy to adapt the gear ratio to the track conditions and the changeover was lightning fast. The Allen screws in the hubs make it easy to fit and remove the wheels. The crank is available in three lengths (170, 175 and 180 mm). Seven different chainrings with ratios from 34 to 46 cost an additional 60 euros each. After a complete season, no failures were recorded despite crashes.
