New 10-speed Grip Shift from Sram
Since the first bikes with a 10-speed groupset came onto the market, racers have had to do without Grip Shift rotary shifters. But the wait will be over from April...

The Grip Shift is the first product that Sram launched on the market in 1988. Intuitive to operate and very light. With these features, the twist shifters quickly became very popular, especially among racers. However, the Grip Shift era ended with the introduction of the first ten-speed shifters three years ago. Until then, Grip Shift could only be combined with a 9-speed sprocket set. From April onwards, Sram is finally responding to the numerous requests from the racing world. The Grip Shift will be available for 2 and 3 x 10 gears for the XX and X0 groupsets. The new one is supposed to shift extremely quickly and, with its carbon housing, save another 50 grams compared to current trigger shifters. The fact that the new technology can also hold its own in competition has already been impressively confirmed by the crowned use on Kulhavy's world champion bike.
