A luxury problem and its solution: If you're spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a bike with Shimano's electronic XTR Di2 drivetrain for the 2015 season, you'll find help here. From race hardtail to all-mountain to enduro - we have searched for Di2 bikes and compiled them in a market overview. The prices range from under 5000 euros to 12999 euros. According to Shimano's price recommendations, the XTR Di2 groupset alone costs more than 3100 euros.

Yeti SB6 C: The carbon fibre enduro bike from Yeti with the innovative Switch Infinity rear triangle is also available as an XTR Di2 version in a small special edition. The carbon frame of the SB6C has 157 mm of suspension travel and, of course, 27.5-inch wheels. The very voluminous frame is available in five sizes. At 65.5 degrees, the steering angle of the SB6C is on the slack side.

Cube Elite C68 SLT 29: With new carbon technology, the frame of the race hardtail weighs a minimalistic 989 grams. In the BIKE test in issue 1/2015, the 29er with double XTR Di2 gears scored a "Super" with 129.5 points.

Haibike Xduro Fullcarbon Ultimate: 18.5 kilos total weight for an e-bike in this suspension travel class is quite a statement. But so is the 12999 euro retail price. Around the carbon fibre frame with integrated Bosch mid-motor (250 watts), Haibike combines all the components that are exclusive and expensive. The gears are changed by the XTR Di2 electric drivetrain from Shimano, and the bike is pedalled and ridden on carbon parts from Tune. The full carbon wheels from Bike Ahead make the 120-millimetre fully a real eye-catcher.

Corratec Inside Link Carbon XTR Di2: One of four models of the Raublinger with electric gears is the fast race fully. With 65 millimetres of travel at the rear, it bridges the gap between hardtails and marathon fullys. The premium version with carbon wheels, SID XX World Cup fork and the complete XTR Di2 costs an impressive 9999 euros.

Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 799 MSL: This bike is the most expensive Rocky Mountain of all time and was named the most expensive production bike at the 2014 Eurobike trade fair. Carbon chassis with 120 millimetres of suspension travel at the front and rear and the finest components including carbon fibre wheels lay the foundation, while Shimano's electronic XTR Di2 gears with 22 gears drive the price up to the astronomical sum of 11,000 euros. A Gran Turismo in a class of its own.
