The World Cup mechanics reveal their tricks of the trade. This time: Benjamin Willeit from Specialized Racing. He shortens the Rock-Shox fork and oils the hubs and bottom bracket masterfully.

Rock Shox SID suspension fork: Shorten suspension travel

For a more aggressive riding position for climbing, Specialized mechanic Benno Willeit "travelled" down the Rock Shox SID suspension fork from 100 to 90 millimetres on Jaroslav Kulhavy's 29er world champion bike.

Specialized man Willeit swaps grease for oil just for racing: this professional trick eliminates the last bit of friction from ball bearings. Caution: After the race, grease must be replaced!
