Top function: Fox 32 Float SC in the BIKE test
The narrow design of the top race fork from Fox immediately catches the eye. The function of the Fox 32 Float SC was also impressive from the first few metres of the test.
The new Fox 32 SC in the Factory version weighs just 1361 grams and responds extremely sensitively, goes through the travel like butter, but doesn't dive away on steps. We used 96 millimetres of travel and you can feel good end progression. The three modes (Open, Medium, Firm) bring about a noticeable change in performance, the open mode can also be fine-tuned in the compression stage. A lack of stiffness was not noticeable, even if the torsional stiffness of the Float SC was below the level of the Rock Shox SID on our test bench. The SC is the first choice for racers. The weight advantage over a Rock Shox RS-1: 240 grams. The upcoming SID will also be heavier (1470 grams).
