Our test track in Latsch is a real eye-opener. Sometimes heavily blocked, sometimes twisty and winding. Sometimes steep in steps, sometimes full throttle sections with small bumps: The course offers everything a tester's heart desires. The best conditions for a fork test in the all-mountain category. Six 120-millimetre forks for 26-inch bikes and three models for twentyniners with 140 to 160 millimetres are put to the test. The price range: 640 to 1599 euros.
The wide price range within this test makes it clear that you don't necessarily have to dig deep into your pockets when choosing a new suspension fork. It is not always the most expensive forks that deliver perfect performance. The surprise of the test: two significantly cheaper models manage to stand up to the top models of established brands. Also exciting: brake specialist Formula presents its debut model Thirty Three in this test. A big step towards a complete range alongside brakes and wheels for the Italians. Exotics such as the Lefty Carbon round off the test field.
