Single test: Rock Shox Revelation WC suspension fork
Thanks to its carbon crown and steerer tube, the elegant World Cup version of the Revelation is one of the lightest forks on the 150 millimetre market.

Thanks to the Dual Position Air lowering system, the fork can be lowered by 30 millimetres in no time at all. On the trail, the Revelation impressed with a creamy response and a harmonious characteristic curve with bottom-out protection. Compared to the models with an aluminium crown and steerer tube, the stiffness is slightly lower, which can be a disadvantage for heavier riders.

Stefan Frey is from Lower Bavaria and loves the mossy, loamy trails of the Bavarian Forest as much as the rugged rock of the Dolomites. For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
