Some headsets can do more than just rotate the fork. With these models, you can adjust the steering angle or protect your frame from damage: Cane Creek Angleset and Acros Blocklock.

Retrofitting a fork with more travel, trying out a larger wheel at the front or simply giving the existing bike a little more composure - the steering angle has a decisive influence on the character of a bike. It determines whether the bike is smooth and stable, agile or even nervous. Until now, anyone who wanted a different steering angle for their existing bike had no choice. The Angleset headset from Cane Creek allows you to customise the geometry of a wide range of frames with EC and ZS headsets to suit your personal preferences and needs. If you want more travel but want to keep the steering angle, the one-degree shell gives you the option.

If you are perfectly happy with the geometry of your bike but just want to add a little more safety, there is an interesting alternative. The Blocklock headset from Acros has a mechanical steering angle limiter and can thus prevent the consequences of crashes such as dented or even broken top tubes.
