With a total of seven adjustment parameters, the "Boxxer WC" wins the button cup. Fortunately, RockShox's tuning guide is very clear and the suggested basic setting suited us well.
The suggested set-up is suitable for all-round use. 5 PSI more or less shifts the riding behaviour significantly towards comfort or racing. 55 PSI, LSC 1 turn, HSC 2 clicks, Beginning Stroke Rebound 10 clicks, ESR 10 clicks, Bottom-out 1 turn (each from fully open).Photo: Daniel Simon The suggested set-up is suitable for all-round use. 5 PSI more or less shifts the riding behaviour significantly towards comfort or racing. 55 PSI, LSC 1 turn, HSC 2 clicks, Beginning Stroke Rebound 10 clicks, ESR 10 clicks, Bottom-out 1 turn (each from fully open).

The lightest fork in the test is in second place together with BOS in terms of torsional rigidity. This also surprised us because of the filigree look. Off-road, the "Boxxer" was clearly one of the favourites. The overall package is harmonious, predictable and balanced. No bottoming out, stable counter-pressure in compressions, good grip. At high speeds, the compression unit can't absorb hard hits quite as confidently as the systems from BOS, Fox and Manitou, but we still felt very safe with the fork. The adjustment of the air chamber in particular is sensitive - 5 PSI more and comfort becomes a firm race feeling. A really good product overall.
