"Motion Control" is the name of the damping system that Rock Shox has brought back into the fork business. With the "Tora", "Motion Control" is now available at a low price. And indeed, the differences to the top forks are hardly noticeable when riding. The "Tora" responds sensitively and even handles rough terrain surprisingly well. However, the finish and weight are clearly inferior. The chrome-plated steel stanchions don't look very high quality and put a lot of pressure on the weight. With the "U-Turn" suspension travel adjustment, the "Tora" weighs an impressive 2.2 kilos. However, for 299 euros you get a top entry-level fork.
