The test result and the technical data of the Rock Shox RS-1 29" from the Cross Country suspension fork test can be found here...

CONCLUSION Thanks to the upside-down design, the RS-1 combines extremely high braking stiffness with a rather meagre torsional rigidity. Off-road, the extremely expensive fork impresses with its excellent sensitivity, outstanding traction and controlled usable suspension travel. The fork requires a special front wheel hub (50 g extra weight) and makes wheel changes more difficult.
